Noah B. Harley plays traditional music of his own devising, drawing from the rich saucy veins of the spaghetti western, Weimar cabaret, Scotch-Irish ballad and the American songster to frighten and inspire audiences no matter how large or small. He plays with Andy Weaver on drums and Sean Cronin on bass. www.noahbharley.net
Ernest Shackelton’s goldfish: http://www.ernestshackleton.net/#about Ernest Shackleton, aka “The Boss” was an Irish sea captain who famously spent five months adrift on an iceberg in 1916 after trying, and failing to sail through Antarctica. Until recently his pet goldfish, Lefty, was frozen in that same iceberg. After over a century spent frozen in the ice lefty has recently thawed, and is now very happy to come and perform at the Avalon Lounge, where he will enthrall us all with the story of his adventures and friendship with the famous explorer.
